Green operation

Norwegian advanced Offshore Service Vessel (OSV) owner and operator Golden Energy Offshore has reported that its long-term focus on Green Operations, Sustainability and  vessel performance monitoring has resulted in operational fuel savings of up to  20% on some vessels in certain operational modes.

We have been certified in ISO 50001 – Energy Management for 6th  year. In addition, we are also certified in ISO 9001 – Quality Management, ISO 14001 – Environmental Management and ISO 45001.

By this we commit to energy management and define goals for reducing fuel oil consumption, give high focus on Green Operations, Sustainability and be in the front seat when developing and testing new technology . How well we manage to reach our goals is thoroughly audited and proven. We have a high focus on how our environmental footprint can be reduced, and how our operations can be optimized to contribute to the United Nations sustainability goals. Our long cooperation and hosting several pilot projects with among others Kongsberg Maritime, Cathwell, Ulstein BlueBox and more- has had a positive effect. By installing new systems, shore-power connection, take energy efficient measurements and monitoring performance – together with a highly motivated team both on-board and ashore to do a difference, our energy consumption and environmental impact are significantly reduced.

Golden Energy Offshore has over many years taken many and important steps to contribute in sustainable and energy efficient operations, reduce fuel consumption and maintain good energy management.
